Send through the API or the dashboard

Use the API when your system should send mail on its own. Use the dashboard to send a batch without writing code.

API: automated mailings

When your system issues an invoice or records an event, it calls the API with the PDF and the address. The mailing goes into the print queue, and the API tells you when it was printed and posted.

CartaFlow and Correios e-Carta

e-Carta is the Correios service in which documents are sent electronically and Correios prints, envelopes and delivers them. CartaFlow also posts through Correios, and takes care of how your mail looks and how it is sent.

  • A well-finished envelope

Your mail arrives in a good-looking envelope that presents your brand well in the recipient’s hands.

  • Color printing

Logos, colors and images come out as you designed them. Black and white is also available.

  • Your PDF, your layout

You decide the layout, the text and the design. We print exactly the file you send.

  • API and dashboard together

Automate from your system or send a batch from the dashboard, at the same price per mailing.

  • Physical address verification

Confirm customer addresses with a mailing under your brand that carries a code and a QR code.

  • Printing and posting handled in Brazil

Your team needs no print shop, supplies or staff in Brazil to get mail out.

CartaFlow is an independent company with no ties to Correios. e-Carta is a Correios service.

Physical address verification

Anyone can type an address into a sign-up form. A code mailed to that address confirms that someone there receives the mail.

Illustrative example. The mailing is written in Portuguese for the recipient in Brazil and carries your logo, not CartaFlow's.

We mail a code and a QR code to the address, under your brand. The person scans the QR code with a phone or types the code, and the address is marked as verified.

Fintechs and banks with Brazilian customers use it when opening accounts and approving credit. Marketplaces and platforms use it to block sign-ups with fake addresses and to stop relying on photos of utility bills.

Three ways to use it

  • In the dashboard, with no code

Add the address in the dashboard and see when it was verified, with the date, IP and device of the confirmation.

  • A verification page under your brand

The QR code opens a page with your logo and the code filled in, hosted by CartaFlow. The person taps once to confirm.

  • Through the API, inside your app

The person enters the code in your app and your system checks it with our API.

Each verification costs the same as one mailing on your plan.

How does automated mail in Brazil work?

Your system sends a PDF and a Brazilian address to the CartaFlow API. We print the document, put it in an envelope and post it through Correios. If you prefer not to integrate, you upload the files in the dashboard.

Who can open an account?

CartaFlow accounts are for registered businesses. Requirements for businesses outside Brazil are confirmed during sign-up.

Can the mail be printed in color?

Yes. You choose color or black and white. CartaFlow prints the PDF exactly as you send it, so the layout, colors and logo are the ones you designed.

What language should the mail be in?

Your recipients live in Brazil, so most businesses write their mail in Portuguese. CartaFlow does not translate or edit your content.

How is CartaFlow different from Correios e-Carta?

e-Carta is the Correios service in which documents are sent electronically and Correios prints, envelopes and delivers them. CartaFlow also posts through Correios and adds a better envelope, color printing, your own PDF layout, an API, a dashboard and physical address verification.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery time depends on the postal service and the destination within Brazil, and it is not guaranteed by CartaFlow.

Is CartaFlow part of Correios?

No. Correios is the national postal service of Brazil. CartaFlow is an independent company that prints and envelopes your mail and posts it through Correios.
